Thinking Through Your Worldview is Extremely Important

Thinking through your Worldview is extremely important... (For all people)

This will be one of the toughest posts I will do. Not because I'm burdened by some big news that needs to be revealed. No, it is because I'm am extremely passionate about this subject.

What is a worldview? It is how you perceive the world. It is a philosophy of life that allows you to interpret current events and past events as good, bad, ugly, beautiful... Etc. Religion normally effects our worldviews, and in my case, defines them.
For a Christian, our religion should define our worldview. My relationship with God and high view of Scripture needs to define my worldview, because of the morals that are laid out in the scriptures, and the fact that our lives should be focused on God's will not our own.

The sad reality is that most Christians do not think through their worldviews... Most Christians will fall into the liberal views of birth control, homosexuality, euthanasia, an errant view of Scriptures, the rejection of moral absolutes, and tenets of universalism because of a low view of Scripture, a low view of God's will, and not thinking through an accurate worldview for the faith they adopted.

What we accept about God is OBJECTIVE TRUTH. This truth was here before humanity, and will be here long after we are dead. It is true now and will be forever. This is much different from atheistic notions that all things are relative and subjective. This is why a liberal atheist/agnostic individual can accept so many heretical morals. But since there is objective truth, the Christian can look at the scriptures and accept and reject certain standards based on the one truth of Scripture.
Christians who do not think through these things do not deserve to defend the Bible because the worldview they have adopted does not stand with God, but against him.

All we can do is pray that Christians will one day wake up and follow truth.

Soli Deo Gloria!
