After darkness... Light.

The French Reformer, John Calvin, this meant so much more than just hope, but his reality. After years of tyranny and over reaching authority of the Roman Pope, the Reformation had given light to the European people in sound, Biblical doctrine.

Yes, the Reformers had their issues and advocated for many immoral actions, but we must see that the Roman Church advocated much worse. And the Reformers, who proceeded from that environment, were making it up as they went. Luther, Calvin, and Zwingli were men who desired truth and, yes, in many ways were brutal, but condemning their doctrine will not change Biblical truth.

Seeing the truth of these men's studies will make all of us better equipped to challenge the false practices of the Roman Church. Rome is the darkness and after the darkness of Rome comes the light of Reformation.

Soli Deo Gloria!
